Apocalypse: The Parasite

Apocalypse + zombies + survival + solving cases + a mother's love

At first, no one thought much of it, believing these were just isolated incidents. It was only when the death toll in the city skyrocketed and acts of social violence became rampant that they realized these disasters were closely connected to their own lives.

Li Buhun is a top salesperson at a biotech company. By chance, she lands a project with a Hungarian biotech firm. While waiting for the samples to be shipped from Hungary, an accident occurs. The disappearance of the people transporting them seems to point to the Yuntai Group. Under pressure as the project faces cancellation, she unexpectedly discovers that she is pregnant, only to catch the baby's father cheating on her. With both love and career in ruins, Buhun runs into her college sweetheart, Gao Feng. She learns that he is the head of surgery at Yuntai Hospital, and just as she thinks she has found true love, she stumbles upon the secrets linking Gao Feng to the Yuntai Group.

On the day she decides to go to the hospital for surgery, Gao Feng vanishes, and the hospital is quietly surrounded by the infected. Meanwhile, Su Li of the criminal investigation squad and forensic doctor Li Min are trapped inside the hospital by a sudden outbreak while investigating a missing persons case and a dismemberment case. The fates of these three very different people become tightly intertwined as they search for a way to escape the hospital.
