Warm Wine, Like the Days of Our Youth

What, exactly, is the jianghu?

And what is a young hero?

A young hero is simply a young hero.

Young hero, you should wear fine clothes, ride a fine horse, and bask in the spring breeze.

You should see every flower in Chang'an in a single day.

You should face the morning sun and stand tall in the wind.

With a face like carved jade, eyes like bright stars, and a bearing as radiant as rosy clouds.

Graceful as the sunset, luminous as the moon, untouched by the dust of time.

Some wear white and silver hair, wielding a silver sword to cleave the heavens.

Some enter the Dao through their fists, breaking through to build anew, their punches shaking the world.

Some wear white fur beneath a jade crown, smiling as they devise strategies and direct events from afar.

Yet a young hero is, of course, still that same young hero from the beginning.

Shake out your robes atop a thousand-foot cliff, and let out a long cry by the edge of the boundless sea.
