Pokemon: Starting with Zeraora

The author writes well It can only be said that the protagonist's personality started to change when school started. I can understand that the author wants the male protagonist to be friendly with his roommate and have a good relationship with that school belle, but in the beginning, the author writes that the male protagonist is so lonely except for his parents and most of them are Pokémon. To put it simply, the male protagonist didn't even have a few friends before high school. Because the male protagonist doesn't even have a best friend for his eighteenth birthday. Under such conditions, at the beginning of school, a female school beauty asked the male protagonist for help, and the male protagonist himself was unwilling to participate. The only time he went was because the teacher knew the male protagonist's mother to make up for the number. Do you think such a male protagonist would help just because of a girl's school beauty? You wouldn't help me just because you feel obligated to help yourself once, right? Personality can change for the better, but this is too sudden
