Li Xiu was playing Soul Knight when he suddenly transmigrated to another world and obtained a game interface very similar to Soul Knight. To get home, he was forced to save this otherworld, which was already in the midst of an apocalypse.
(P.S. The game interface the protagonist gets is a heavily modified version of Soul Knight. If that bothers you, you may want to skip this.)
