1453: The Byzantine Revival

The year 1453, the year that divided the Middle Ages from the modern era. It all happened because one city fell. Its name was Constantinople. It had stood for a thousand years.

But tonight, everything changed. Outside stood the young Sultan. Inside, the old Emperor. Guns thundered, women wept, and men shouted. They prayed to God, begging Him to send a savior to rescue their fallen city and their helpless souls. At this turning point in history, God answered their pleas. He sent them a new Emperor, Anthony, from across the sea, to lead the Romans to new heights and put an end to the city's terrible fate.
