I Should Have Confessed to You Sooner

In their second year of high school, Ye Nanshu wrote Zhou Chen a “hinting letter,” implying that he was being cheated on.

The night before she left Jiangcheng, Ye Nanshu called to confess her feelings, only to be cruelly rejected. Worse, she heard him say that he would always love his “ex-girlfriend.”

Go to hell, you jerk.

Later, Ye Nanshu transferred schools, and Zhou Chen went abroad.

When they met again, Zhou Chen heard her say, “We were just high school classmates.”

That’s the price of not confessing sooner…
