The Heavenly Dao Universe: Demons from Hell

Heaven and Hell are locked in constant war. Once again, they launch a life-or-death battle sanctioned by the Heavenly Dao. The losing side will become slaves to the victors, and Chiyan Yijie, a man fated to bring calamity, is tricked by Heaven and sent to Hell.

Later, after the deaths of the friends around him, he grows to hate the world.

“Divine Dao? Demonic Dao? This world itself forced me onto the Demonic Dao. There’s no turning back now!”

In Hell, Chiyan Yijie slowly comes to know the warmth of friendship, and even family…

In the mortal world, his companions, whom he considers family, die one by one, and he is powerless to save them. His heart wavers, and he cannot break through…

In Heaven, his last companion also dies because of him. When he realizes he can protect nothing at all, Chiyan Yijie finally breaks through the realm he has suppressed for so long. But what will it cost him…

When he faces the Heavenly Dao, the man who valued love and loyalty and longed for family and friends is long gone. In his place stands a “demon,” a cold-blooded killer who has slaughtered countless people and wears no expression at all!

[No Romance + Protagonist’s Descent into Darkness + Plenty of Tragedy Later On + Vast Worldbuilding]

I’m a new author and my writing isn’t great. You can start around chapter seventy; I’ll add a summary of the first few dozen chapters later. Or you can start from that chapter.
