The Last Bandit Wife

In the 1940s, the world outside was engulfed in war and chaos, with people driven from their homes. Deep in the mountains, a young farm girl could have lived a quiet, ordinary life, but a chance encounter with a bandit chieftain left him captivated at first sight. Years later, when she became the bandits’ final wife, she would always find herself sighing as she looked back: That fleeting encounter sealed my fate for life. She could never forget the tall man on horseback.
