The Dusty Stars of the Dao

On a great avenue, amid a sky full of drifting catkins, a solitary figure stood with his hands behind his back.

The scenery around him was desolate, and an eerie wind slowly swept through.

This was the first manifestation of a Dao Mark.

The realms of martial arts were often distinguished by the manifestations of Dao Marks. The manifestation described above was the highest realm of martial arts, known as the Profound Yellow Realm.

Over the past century, among the many heroes who had embarked on the path of martial arts, few had ever reached this realm.

Ordinary people were like dust-stars in the sky.

Behind those dust-stars lay the vast, ethereal expanse of the universe.

The path of martial arts was the heroes’ first journey into this sea of stars.

What I tell today is merely a handful of trivial tales about martial heroes setting out into that vast sea of stars. Yet from these traces, we can imagine that many years ago, our ancestors may also have ventured into that sea of stars in ways unlike our own.

They, too, searched for miracles of life.

Welcome to this world!
