Nezha gets kicked down to the mortal realm by his dad after one careless mistake, becoming Zhang Wei, a human good-for-nothing student.

"You have activated the Top Student System. Clear the levels to return to the Celestial Court." Nezha is on the verge of tears. Good heavens, studying is what he hates most!

As it happens, Zhang Wei was a good-for-nothing student too. He signed an agreement with Li Jing, the Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King: Nezha would complete Zhang Wei's middle-school studies, while Zhang Wei traveled the world with his own master for three years.

When the three years are up, Nezha, in Zhang Wei's body, graduates at the top of the school and becomes an internet sensation with millions of followers. He clears the levels and returns to the Celestial Court.

But by then, the Celestial Court has descended into chaos, and everything is waiting for Nezha to set right.
