The Spring of the Eleventh Year

In ninth grade, Shi Yi met the first boy she ever liked. She had a crush on him for a whole year, and after the high school entrance exams, he confessed to her: “I like you. Can I pursue you?”

“Sure. Let's be together.”

They dated for only two years before he fell for another girl. That girl was bold, passionate, and bright. How could anyone not like her?

During the years they were apart, Shi Yi never forgot him. He was like a thorn: even after it was pulled out, the scar remained.

Over the next few years, Shi Yi went through many painful experiences. Just as she was about to give up on life, she encountered a brilliant light and began the journey of her second life.

Some people love your sunny side but can't accept your rainy days. Others love not only your lively, adorable side, but also your plain, boring one.

The eleventh spring was the one when Shi Yi stopped loving Chen Yichen and fell in love with Lin Shen. That was when her eleven-year love came to an end.

One day after they were married, Shi Yi lay quietly in Lin Shen's arms and murmured, “Lin Shen, I want to outlive you by eleven years.”

May every girl find someone on the same wavelength. It may take time, but in the end, you'll meet.
