Blue Jacaranda and Chinese Scholar Tree

Wen An first saw Song Yihuai in high school. Through a sunlit window, a boy in a white T-shirt walked by. Summer sunlight fell across his face and pierced the heart of a lovestruck girl. One glance was all it took for her to remember him throughout her youth.

Wen An saw Song Yihuai for the second time in a spotless, snow-white hospital. In a sorry state, she sat nervously in a chair, her swollen foot dragging along, and gazed at the steady, handsome doctor before her with wide, dewy eyes like a fawn's. She thought: What a coincidence, I've met the boy who made my entire youth unforgettable ^o^

This time, she wouldn't let him slip away again. She hoped he would make the rest of her life unforgettable ♡

Song Yihuai was always grateful: Thank goodness my little darling remembered me for so long, or I'd never have gotten a wife (︶︿︶)
