Let Me Tell You About the Love of the Lotus

“You know, we're like two lotus leaves drifting together and apart in this mortal world. But don't be afraid: our stems are joined, and one day they'll bring forth the most beautiful flower in the world.” His large hand clasped mine.

“...You made me understand what regret is. You made me jealous. Ha, and you also made me realize this is as far as we can go.” Master smiled bitterly.

“Little sister, I've had enough of this mortal world, and I'm tired. I hope you can be yourself and live well.” My elder sister was gone.

No golden finger, no harem. I'm no more than a drop in the ocean, with no desire to stir up trouble, yet all the world's joys and sorrows come crashing down on me.

“Meeting you used up all the luck I had beyond this lifetime, and made me decide to wager everything, life after life.”
