Ling Cage I: Awakening in the Apocalypse

Ye Qing was a League of Legends player in the modern world. On the night he failed to reach Challenger for the eighteenth time this season, furious at the infuriating Elo system, he punched his computer screen to pieces. But the 220-volt alternating current coursed through his body, and he collapsed on the spot. His soul, however, wandered free through time and space, taking him to the wasteland era of Ling Cage. As the current followed his thoughts through time and space, it formed a System that bonded with Ye Qing, joining him in the fight to save the post-apocalyptic world.

Yet the way this System levels up left Ye Qing stunned. No absurd equipment, no invincible magic, no omniscience, and no unbeatable cheats. Only survival in the apocalypse and saving the world can drive Ye Qing to grow stronger.

This book uses the setting, concepts, and background of the animated series Ling Cage. Most of the systems in the book draw on analyses by “Leviathan,” “Lost de Ali,” and “Bai Tianshi” from a certain video site.
