She thought she could enjoy a leisurely life as emperor, watching plays, sipping tea, and practicing cultivation until she could return to her old world.
Who could have guessed it was a trap, and a bottomless one at that? It not only wore her out, but sometimes put her life on the line.
By the end, the Regent had been executed, the civil and military officials were cowed, and the imperial concubines and princes had all been put in their place.
Empress Dowager Ji laughed heartily. At last, she could focus on cultivation.
The emperor, now grown, said helplessly, “Mother, the rulers of the other three kingdoms have sent letters asking you to teach their princes how to cultivate.”
Empress Dowager Ji: “Get lost! I want to cultivate...”
Although it's short, it looks pretty good.
It would be nice if the ending was longer
So beautiful!
Not bad, worth watching.
It's quite interesting. I like to watch this kind of fast-paced movies that don't drag on.
Good-looking, fast-paced, not draggy
The novel was well written and quite exciting. But I don't like this kind of novels about immortals and monsters, so I can only give it four stars.
Good-looking, good, good
Good looking, neat and tidy
This book is so wonderfully written that I didn't skip it until I read it. It's just too short to be enjoyable. I hope the author writes more similar novels.
