Genshin Impact: After Their Confessions Were Rejected, They Changed Their Minds

[Apologies for the OOC!] [I'm not great at writing, so criticize the content if you must! Don't attack the author, or I'll fall apart.] [The protagonist is a terrible boyfriend, not a good one]

After transmigrating to Teyvat a thousand years ago, Wang Xuan was only able to walk the mortal world for ten years at a time because of the Heavenly Principles' interference. Every moment, he longed for romance in Teyvat. He couldn't understand why, when their feelings were so deep and they were more than friends but not quite lovers, they rejected every confession he made for one reason or another. Wang Xuan finally gave up, but then they regretted it.

Amber: "Would you come watch the sea with me at Cape Oath?"

Lisa: "This time... I'm not teasing you, little one. I mean it!"

Yoimiya: "Fireworks fade, but bonds between people endure! I hope we can walk together from now on!"

Ganyu: "I took the day off. Can you come see the Lantern Rite with me? Mm... work isn't as important as you..."
