Paper Bride

My name is Ning Zifu, and today is my wedding day with Mo Qi. Looking back, the story of how we met is quite amusing.

Back then, our families were old friends. They say that before I was even born, my parents arranged for me to marry Mo Qi, who was still in her mother's womb.

But after I was born, my parents lost touch with her family. Later, when they asked me to meet the girl they had chosen as my future wife, I vehemently objected. What age are we living in? Who still believes in such feudal superstitions?

After my parents passed away, I visited their old friends in accordance with their final wishes. I regretted it as soon as I got there. I regretted not coming sooner, and not meeting her earlier.

Our love had nothing to do with our parents' arrangement. To put it simply, it was love at first sight.
