Xiaohua Stops Running

Synopsis: When she was four, her older sister and mother died one after the other. When she was nine, her father caught sight of a streak of red on her pants and eagerly sold her to Old Man Qiao. That was only the beginning of her tragic fate. Because of fourteen men, Hu Xiaohua was forced to flee, get caught, and flee again, until she met a group of kind, lovable people. She stopped running, thinking her life might finally take a turn for the better, but it remained as difficult as ever. Stubborn Hu Xiaohua refused to yield to fate’s cruelty. She spread her wings against the wind, healing the shattered remains of her childhood. Her road to maturity was slow and awkward. She paid a terrible price, but also welcomed a brand-new version of herself.
