Back to College, and My Sweet Girlfriend Comes Looking for Me

Modern city + one heroine + everyday life + devoted mutual affection

After graduating from college, Zhang Mingche was desperate to change his family's dire circumstances. But his risky investments left him buried in debt. He struggled through the quagmire of online loans and countless grueling days and nights, finally paying it all off, only to be left with nothing. Nearly thirty, he was still single.

Lying on a bed in a dilapidated wooden shack with water leaking through the roof, he suddenly felt a stabbing pain in his chest. His body grew heavy as his consciousness drifted away... When he opened his eyes, he had somehow returned to college in 2014.

A sweet, innocent girl came looking for him, claiming to be his girlfriend and following him around, calling him “big brother.” But he'd been single all his life, and he had no memory of her at all.

“Hehehe, big brother, hehehe, big brother, hehehe...”

Wang Chuxuan rubbed herself against Zhang Mingche. Then she brought her nose close to him and took a deep sniff, wearing a sweet, almost foolish smile. The sight made Zhang Mingche uneasy; there was something a little creepy about it.

“Xuanxuan, what's wrong? Are you okay?”

Zhang Mingche quickly reached out and carefully felt her forehead, checking her temperature in case she'd caught a chill or come down with a fever. But her skin felt normal, with no sign of a fever.

As soon as Zhang Mingche lowered his hand, Wang Chuxuan's arms clamped around him like a pair of pincers. She held him so tightly, as if using every ounce of strength she had, refusing to let go for fear he might suddenly run off.

“Bad big brother, don't think you can leave!”

Wang Chuxuan's sweet, soft voice rang out again, cloying and affectionate, full of a child's stubbornness and dependence. Zhang Mingche's heart melted instantly.
