The Wolf King’s Dream by Shen Shixi

I really didn't expect that I would read this book on a whim when I had nothing to do during the winter vacation. I had heard it many times before in elementary and junior high school, but had never read it. This time I saw this masterpiece in the recommendation of Tomato novels. I somehow felt attracted to it and read it completely. In other words, the storyline in it is really interesting. What a profound meaning, especially Zi Lan, who touched me a lot. For the sake of her husband Hei Sang's last wish, she transformed from a gorgeous female wolf into an old and senile old wolf in just a few years. She sacrificed the happiness of herself and her children, as well as her own love. In the end, she died in her obsession to make her grandson the wolf king.

This is the first time I read an animal novel, and I feel the selfless maternal love of an animal, as well as its pain and helplessness, and its good intentions in raising its son to be the wolf king! The animal's heart is vividly described, which brought my emotions so deep that I couldn't get out for a long time!
