Rules of the Strange: I Am a Strange-Tale Tester

[National Fate + The Weird Descends + Master Schemer + Comedy + Horror]

Rules of the Strange have descended upon Blue Star, and people from every country are randomly selected to take part in them.

Survive, and your country earns a month’s reprieve from the strange’s invasion.

But to everyone’s surprise, Li Bagua is chosen as a Rules of the Strange contestant?

While everyone else is focused on exploiting the rules and finding loopholes to stay alive, Li Bagua has a different goal: enter the strange realm, pose as a fellow contestant, watch what everyone does, fill out reports, and patch up loopholes in the rules so he can meet his work targets. He might even bring the strange back to the real world under the pretense of a business trip for professional development.

And so... things start getting weird inside the strange realm, and the real world gets weird too.

Just as one chosen contestant after another congratulates themselves on finding a loophole in the rules, they suddenly discover... the rules have changed?

“Brother Gua, come save me! Something’s wrong with these rules!” Zhu Yuchen, the representative of Huaxia, shouted.

Wait... the viewers staring at the screen were all overcome with dread.

Who was he... talking to?
