Three machine-gun mechs came rumbling toward the command center and unleashed a relentless barrage. After an explosion, Lu Feng slumped in his esports chair. That's right, he fell at the place closest to the championship.

As he watched the Wolf Clan team lift the coveted championship trophy onstage, Lu Feng and his teammates quietly left the stage, unnoticed by anyone. People only remember the champions. No one knows how the runners-up walk off the stage.

This scene unfolded during the grand final of the 2023 Rusty War Professional League Spring Split. Back in his team's locker room, Lu Feng thought back on all the moments he'd experienced in the Rusty War scene over the past few years.

He founded EGM, defeated one strong team after another in friendly matches, won the national championship and earned a spot in the professional league. He had won plenty of honors, but remained just one trophy short: the professional league championship every esports player longed for.

Lu Feng would keep fighting until he won it!
