“Your body, your soul, they should all belong to me...”
After transmigrating, Xun Xun slept inside Yu Shang for years.
On the day Yu Shang's bloodline awakened, he was jolted awake by an icy, violent consciousness: a mass of overwhelming resentment born from the extermination of the White Snake Clan, calling itself Sacrifice.
Born of a blood feud, Sacrifice was mad and twisted, regarding the body that carried the White Snake bloodline as its final vessel for revenge.
“Give me your body...” That was the deranged whisper it uttered most often.
Having lost all his memories, Xun Xun had only his instinct to protect Yu Shang.
And so, a strange tug-of-war played out inside Yu Shang every day:
The mad vengeful spirit of an exterminated clan roared to devour everything and seize the body.
The amnesiac soul from another world silently and resolutely built a line of defense, protecting the boy's consciousness.
Every day, Yu Shang had to live alongside these two “tenants.”
Until one day, Sacrifice murmured in its frenzy, “Kill them all... Use your body...”
Xun Xun's voice immediately followed, gentle but firm: “Don't listen to him. I'll protect you, even if... I have to protect you from ‘us.’”
