Above the nine heavens, immortals and Buddhas stood in ranks, gazing down upon the mortal world.
Below, ten great orthodox traditions held sway over the nine provinces.
After transmigrating to another world, Chen Yuan became the deposed emperor of Great Zhou, imprisoned in the Cold Palace for three years. By chance, he awakened a System that made him a sage through reading.
“You read a forbidden scripture of the Demonic Sect and receive the inner arts of the four great demonic sects.”
“You read the Supreme Mystery Dao Scripture and receive the divine treasure, the Supreme Mystery Dao Fruit.”
“You read the Nirvana Buddhist Scripture and receive the divine treasure, the Nirvana Golden Body.”
“Achievement unlocked: ‘Convince Through Reason.’ Reward: Wind God Eye Technique.”
“Achievement unlocked: ‘Slay Demons and Exorcise Evil.’ Reward: Demon-Slaying Spirit Sword.”
Years later, the Heavenly Gate reopened. Immortals and Buddhas descended from every heaven, seeking to seize the mortal world’s fortune.
Chen Yuan stood among the clouds, laughed aloud, and casually struck out with one palm.
The Heavenly Gate shattered, immortals and Buddhas fell, and Great Zhou’s dragon banners spread across all three realms!
