The Emperor’s Game

This book, how should I put it, is better than the first. The first major plot point, the peace negotiation, does not feel that logical. The protagonist has lost 4/5 of his territory. How can his promise be so tempting? However, the writing at the end is not bad. The book is relatively novel overall. I look forward to it. The four stars are given because of the subject matter.
