Against the Grain: Quick Transmigration and the Tale of Qinglian

Su Ling transmigrates, and so does her friend. Armed with a simple story outline, they choose inconspicuous roles and help authors flesh out their plots through firsthand experience, earning money along the way.

Due to the rules, the roles they choose are both rather hard to describe.

After transmigrating, Su Ling becomes the male lead's support-type spirit beast. With only modest abilities, how will she make the most of her strengths among all those gifted prodigies and experts?

By a fortunate coincidence, Su Ling takes a powerful master and joins a hidden spirit beast clan, growing ever more connected to this world. As the story unfolds, she discovers that spirit beasts seem to be treated unfairly here.

The male lead Su Ling follows is a prodigy, yet his sect has been destroyed. Su Ling's clan has many powerful experts, but they keep out of the public eye. And there are plenty of other spirit beast clans that have chosen to remain hidden as well.

Transmigration, adventure, unexpected encounters, and conspiracies: what kind of story will the heroine experience as she seeks the truth behind each tale, all while turning the usual transmigration tropes on their head?
