Sweet Days in the 1970S

My uncle always told Xiao Qiu that she was born in the best of times and had to learn to treasure them. But Xiao Qiu never understood what made an era the best. Her parents had loved each other all their lives, and their daughter was both talented and beautiful. Most of the elders in the family lived peaceful lives and enjoyed successful careers. It wasn’t until Xiao Qiu married into the He family and learned from Mother He about the past the elders had never spoken of that she realized how fortunate her generation was.
