In the late Ming Dynasty, Li Guangsheng, a time-traveling official, was in power in Jinxiang County, Yanzhou Prefecture. He developed commerce, gathered refugees, established schools, wrote books to inherit the Guanzhong School of Confucianism, founded the Jinxiang Sect of Confucianism, and was eventually canonized, becoming a great thinker of his generation.
