The Caged Bird

Before meeting Li Tingzheng, Jiang Ning always thought she would spend her life alone.

After meeting him, she learned that when love runs deep, it becomes a homecoming.

But when the truth was finally revealed, Jiang Ning realized just how foolish she had been.

“Li Tingzheng, did you ever love me?” Even when he had hurt her beyond recognition, Jiang Ning stubbornly asked him.

“Suisui, it was just a game. Don’t flatter yourself,” Li Tingzheng replied.

Later, she left for a faraway place with a heart shattered to pieces.

When they met again, a gentle, handsome man stood by Jiang Ning’s side.

Li Tingzheng’s heart felt as if it were being carved apart. “Suisui, I love you. Will you come back?”

Jiang Ning smiled calmly. “Li Tingzheng, I don’t love you anymore.”

Love that comes too late is worth less than grass. Jiang Ning would never turn back.
