The Madman Mao Shiba

A cat immortal who broke the laws of heaven,

A brash feline cast down to the mortal world,

Now lazily curled up in a cozy little bed,

Enjoying life in an ordinary world.

“Cat Shiba, get up! You fat, stupid, useless cat. All you do is eat and sleep, then sleep and eat. I’d be better off raising a dog. At least it would wag its tail to please me!”

“Stupid woman, what a terrible name you gave me. You’re so uncultured!”

“Foolish humans, don’t you know that human life is just as short as a cat’s? You should learn to enjoy life instead of making yourself suffer.”

“Let me tell you, I’m no ordinary cat. I used to soar through the highest heavens. But the life of an immortal was so boring that I came down to take a look, and maybe save this awful world while I was at it.”

But a strange murder case changed its peaceful life.

The woman’s death was shrouded in mystery: murder, kidnapping, drugs…

“Don’t kill the innocent, don’t eavesdrop, don’t do evil.”

His master’s teachings echoed in his ears…

To hell with those damn rules!

He opened his magical eye to spy on all kinds of evil,

And swung his sharp claws,

Dragging out the souls of criminals and striking them down!

He would bring justice to those who died unjustly, and restore fairness and justice to the human world!

Many years, many years… from now, foolish humans will finally miss me, the one and only Cat Shiba.
