The story takes place in the author's own home. Legend has it that my master raised a Wong Tai Sin who specialized in stealing money and food from the family. In just a few years, the master bought hundreds of acres of fertile land in the local area. He employed long-term workers and tenants in his family, and became a well-known local rich man.
Later, my uncle passed away and left the family business to my uncle and my grandfather. I don't know what offended Wong Tai Sin. The things at home were not much but less. Bad luck followed one after another. Soon, the family fortune was in decline. My grandfather and my father became the poorest people in the area. To this day, there is still a trace of Wong Tai Sin in our family.
