The ninth year of Wude.
Li Shimin has just ascended the throne, and he is deeply depressed.
He'd only gone on a whim to travel incognito. How had he ended up with this whole mess on his hands?
That day, he and Fang Xuanling went sightseeing and wound up in the outskirts of Wannian County, where they came across a manor.
A peerless young prodigy was living there!
And, to make matters even more absurd, the fellow mistook him for his long-lost father.
Just as Li Shimin was about to reveal his identity and recruit this great talent, he suddenly heard the man's name: "Li Yuan."
Li Shimin was instantly depressed. This damn guy wanted to be his father?
Even worse, this "Li Yuan" kept spouting crazy nonsense:
"Old man, hurry up and run away with me. The Turks are about to attack Chang'an."
"Old man, this is called a mushroom bomb. Just one shot will leave nothing alive in all of Chang'an. Want one?"
"Old man, a woman will replace the Tang, and the Wu Zhou dynasty is destined to rise!"
"…"
And so His Majesty Li Er grew more and more depressed, muttering nonstop, "Father, you really are my father..."

I can't stand reading the introduction. The Tomato Tang stories are all the same, so why can't there be some new ideas?
