The Noble Consort's Mirror, a Grudge for Immortality

A hundred years ago, in a place called Licheng, there was a star of the stage named Xu Changsheng. He made his debut at eighteen, and shot to fame across the country with a performance of The Palace of Eternal Life. Whenever he took the stage, the opera house was packed to the rafters.

He had a bright future ahead of him, but while performing at the Su residence to celebrate the matriarch's birthday, he met a daughter of the Su family, Su Jin.

After going through a number of trials together, the two quickly fell in love. When their hearts were as one, they swore to spend their lives together, using the precious Guifei Mirror he had given her as their pledge. The Su family soon discovered what was going on. They could not tolerate the relationship between Su Jin and Changsheng, and under their threats, the heartbroken Su Jin agreed to die with Changsheng. Together, they would journey to the underworld.

But Changsheng's death did not bring everything to an end.

A hundred years later, reunited once more, what path will Su Jin and Changsheng take?
