The Ultimate Teacher

Gu Yuan had just graduated from college when he came to teach in a small county town. As luck would have it, he was assigned the most unruly class in the school. He expected the job to be one challenge after another, but as he spent day after day with his students, he discovered that they were actually pretty great.

“Want to shoot some hoops with us, Teach?”

“Sure!”

“Want to play some games with us, Teach?”

“I’m pretty sure phones are banned at school. Hand yours in tomorrow.”

“Teach, that beautiful teacher from the class next door is looking for you!”

“Focus on your lessons. Don’t get ahead of yourselves.”
