The Underworld's Boss Personally Comes to Collect Ghosts: It's an Honor to Be Taken

[Adorable powerhouse x gentle, beautiful sidekick, suspense + supernatural + strong heroine + sweet romance with no angst]

Strange, powerful, chaotic, divine. Yu Xing has all four qualities.

After a subordinate who can’t stand her sends her to the human world to catch ghosts, Yu Xing has barely begun her journey when she takes on a beautiful, strong, and tragic sidekick.

He’s good-looking, silver-tongued, and kind, though his background is a little tragic. Yu Xing is always tempted to kill him and take him back to the Underworld.

A vicious ghost imprisoned in the Underworld for tens of thousands of years escapes, and seems to have some connection to her sidekick. Should she protect him while he’s alive, or kill him first and then protect him? Yu Xing is torn.

(Extra scene)

Yu Xing: With a body like yours, you wouldn’t have to deal with any of that if you were dead.

Sidekick: If that day ever comes, I hope you’ll do it yourself in advance.

Yu Xing: With your looks, you’d be quite popular in the Underworld.

Sidekick: Thanks for the compliment, but I’d still rather be alive.

Yu Xing: I’m going out. Stay here and behave.

Sidekick: I’m not coming? (confused face)

Yu Xing: What would you do there? I’m going to collect ghosts, and you’d just eat them. What would I collect then?

This is a heartwarming story about an adorable powerhouse who has just arrived in the human world and her gentle, beautiful, strong, and tragic sidekick collecting ghosts together.

(Note: The male lead is strong too, just not as strong as the female lead. This is the author’s first supernatural story, so please forgive any shortcomings.)
