Call Me Master Zhang

Abandoned as a baby, Zhang Xiao became a City God through the power of worship and offerings. On his way to take up his post, a mistake by a ghost officer sent him transmigrating to another world. In this life, he was almost killed by his older brother at birth, but escaped with the last of his worship-fueled spiritual power. A hunter later took him in. As an adult, he traveled from place to place preaching and gathering offerings in search of his lost younger sister, preparing to ascend to godhood through worship once more and reclaim his position as City God. By a twist of fate, however, he became the City God of this world instead.

“If anyone refuses to submit, I’ll beat them until they do. Even if everyone dies, I’ll find their souls and return to clear their names and overturn their cases.” These are Zhang Xiao’s famous words.
