Yu Qi was the senior disciple of the Pavilion Master of the Skyward Heart Pavilion. Unfortunately, an item in the pavilion nearly got stolen, and the Glazed Glass Lamp that served as its vessel was shattered. Yu Qi is exiled to collect demon spirits and reforge the lamp, forbidden to return without a summons.
Xuteng’s attempt to elope with the one they love fails. Through a twist of fate, Yu Qi takes Xuteng in as a spirit beast, and the two set off on a journey to collect demon spirits.
“I offer a petal of a demon spirit as a sacrifice, and pray to obtain...”
“Do you really think you took him in as a spirit beast by chance?”
