This is a love tragedy and reality drama set in ancient Chinese novels.
Somehow, it reminds me of "Beijing Smoke and Clouds". They are all broad-minded, kind and intelligent heroines, and they all have a simple but hurtful dandy husband. I have seen too many rebirth and fast-travel heroines decisively giving up or "reconciling". The heroine in this book actually fits the sample of relatively independent and brave women of that era.
After reading this book, I feel that no matter what the cause of love, love is fragile and will disappear. Maybe everyone has their own grievances and incomprehension, but can it be resolved through good communication?
Maybe some love only exists when it happens [you taste it carefully]
The parents are short-sighted, but hidden in the straightforward narrative is the hatred of the country and the family. The writing is top-notch, and it grabs your hand so tightly that you won't be able to skip a single paragraph. Highly recommend it.
The story is short and concise. It doesn't drag on but the ending is a little rushed. It's worth recommending.
