Dual Male Leads + Western Fantasy + Slow Burn
Plot-focused
Si Yan wakes up in a ruined city with no memories of his past and wanders there alone. One day, he sees several people utterly unlike the creatures that inhabit the ruined city.
Among them is a monster wearing human skin and passing itself off as a person.
So Si Yan kills the monster, assumes the identity of the person who had already died, and infiltrates the human group.
When Si Yan's false identity is exposed, everyone is convinced that he is the murderer.
No one believes he wasn't the one who killed the victim, so he runs away.
Si Yan sheds his disguise and lives among people under another identity, but a peaceful life seems to have nothing to do with him.
An abandoned manor, bloody sacrifices, an infant cemetery: the temple's hypocritical facade is torn away before Si Yan's eyes. As his memories return, even the gods enthroned in the heavens take notice of him. Countless assassins soon come after him.
But none of it does any good.
Not even when the gods intervene in person.
In the end, Si Yan ascends to the pinnacle of the world, while those false gods have long since turned to ashes.
*They start as enemies and end up in love.
