On the Lotus: A Love Across a Thousand Years

National duty takes center stage, with personal relationships in a supporting role. During the wars of the Northern Song, as Zhao Guangyi worked to unify the realm, a group of young people strove alongside him. Through love and hatred, entanglements, and an unending cycle of gain and loss, they grow. The heroine is a female general with the whole realm in her heart, who earned her achievements through her own hard work and perseverance. No one is purely good. Perfectionists, please look elsewhere. This is an ensemble story in which everyone has their own perspective. Naturally, each person’s path unfolds differently depending on where they stand.
