Guardians of the Apocalypse

[Apocalypse + survival + superpowers + evolution + high stakes + global scale + zombies + mutated beasts] They kill to protect. They protect their loved ones as family. To survive, they press on with their brothers, companions, and those they love, searching for a safe place to settle. Calamities follow them every step of the way, and someone is always trying to trample them underfoot. In this apocalypse, zombies and evolved beasts run rampant, people grow restless, morality collapses, and order crumbles. Through the trials of this world, they grow stronger and learn to kill without hesitation. Humanity struggles desperately to survive, until people begin awakening superpowers and gradually turn the tide. Those who awaken early are extraordinarily gifted, one in ten thousand. Chen Fan, however, is the most extraordinary of them all.
