Ji Lanyu transmigrates into a dirt-poor family in ancient times. Her father is a drunk, her three-year-old nephew is still little, and fortunately her eldest brother is fairly reliable.
So Ji Lanyu gets the household in order while growing crops in her pocket space to build a fortune.
She hears that her father owes ten taels of silver to the mute from their village. Worried that her creditor will be vicious, Ji Lanyu is instead rescued by him time and again. As they spend time together, she discovers that there's more to his muteness than meets the eye. After curing him, Ji Lanyu has her pocket space in one hand and her husband in the other, sailing smoothly toward a life of wealth and comfort.
