A Fox Spirit at Home: The Beloved Little One Keeps Trying to Ascend to Immortality

The once-glorious Duke of Zhenguo's household was framed and banished to a barren mountain. The whole family was left in misery.

Just as they were about to turn evil, a little white fox fell from the sky.

Father: “It's getting cold. Perfect timing to make your mother a fur scarf.”

Eldest brother: “That tail fur looks great. I've been wanting a new brush.”

Second sister: “I wonder how much silver this pelt will fetch.”

Third brother: “We haven't had any game in days. Let's have a feast tonight.”

But that very night, the little white fox transformed into a three-year-old girl. She was not only clean and adorable, but also cried as she searched for her mother.

They say monsters are clear about whom they love and hate. Who knew this little girl would take them for her family? Not only did she hold no grudges, she was determined to protect them.

Maybe keeping a fox around to guard the house wouldn't be so bad?

But this little girl was a bit dim. She grew a few extra tails and immediately thought she could ascend to immortality? She even planned to put “When one person attains the Dao, even their chickens and dogs ascend” into practice. Forget turning evil. They'd better focus on raising the child, before she ascended to immortality and turned her back on them!
