The protagonist of the story, Shuai Lang, is the son of Shuai Shicai, an iron police brigade captain who is an expert in anti-pocketing and anti-fraud. Growing up with his father on trains, he was very sensitive to scams. Shuai Lang's growth experience was bumpy. Because his father was busy with work and neglected the family, his mother couldn't bear it and left them. His father started a new family, so Shuai Lang was estranged from his father. This is an early work by Lao Chang. When I read it, I wrote it myself, and I had no impression of the part about the treasure. When I read it again, I still found the plot to be strange and changeable, often unexpected, yet within reason. I won't get tired of reading this book, and I highly recommend it! !
This book was very real and reminded me of my own experiences growing up. Shuai Lang's family background is very similar to mine, and I can understand the gap between him and his father. The scam described in the book is very exciting, and I admire Shuai Lang's wit and coping ability. I particularly like his character and his tenacity and indomitable spirit inspire me a lot. This book is not only a good novel, but also made me think more about life.
I have read all eight books. The stories are wonderful and the plots are interlocking. The author truly reflects the distorted human nature of that deformed era and the evil consequences, but he also created a good and competent policeman like Shuai Shicai, as well as all kinds of ordinary people who work hard to live. Although I don't like Shuai Lang's lifestyle of being a gangster, I admire his optimism, unwillingness to admit defeat, and tenacious life attitude, keen observation and high emotional intelligence.
Destined to have eight liters, he can travel all over the world without fighting.
