This novel will go behind a paywall at noon this Friday, the 29th. The paid chapters begin with Yun Zong catching someone in the act. I hope you'll support the novel!
Watch how Yun Zong, a holy son of the Demon Palace, goes from throwing himself into Xiao Yan's arms to getting close to the powerful eunuch who rules the realm.
Xiao Yan is the emperor's officially appointed Nine Thousand Years. He is the seal-bearer and brush-holder of the Directorate of Ceremonial, the governor of both the Eastern and Western Depot, and the commander-in-chief of the Embroidered Uniform Guard. A notorious villain and powerful eunuch, he holds the emperor hostage to command the officials. He set the precedent for eunuchs attending court and participating in state affairs, to the point that people know only the Nine Thousand Years, not the Emperor.
His adopted sons and grandsons are spread throughout the land, and even his ninth-generation descendants can be found at court. His power is unprecedented and unmatched.
Everyone speculates that the Nine Thousand Years intends to set the precedent of a eunuch becoming emperor. But to Xiao Yan, the throne is worthless. He has never wanted to become emperor. All he wants is to make those responsible pay in blood!
Yun Zong is one of the Demon Palace's holy sons, and the most gifted among them. He holds an exalted position in the palace. When he accidentally learns that the holy sons are merely reserves for the palace master, Tian Xie, to drain of their powers in his quest for immortality, he flees overnight and heads straight for the imperial capital to seek protection from the Xiao family. But the family has already been wiped out, and its sole survivor is Xiao Yan, the powerful eunuch who rules the realm.
The moment Yun Zong falls into Xiao Yan's arms, a storm of bloodshed and passion will sweep through both the martial world and the imperial court. And so the story begins!
It's similar to the outline of a novel I've read before. Why so cruel? Author, why are you doing this to me? 😢😢😢o(╥╥)o
