Grudges of the Long Tower

A short historical romance told from the heroine's perspective

A lifetime in Fuliang, a dream that vanished upon waking

Beneath blossoms and the moon, our vows of eternal love have all come to nothing.

Tell me, if I hadn't met you as a child, if I hadn't entered the imperial palace at thirteen,

would you have let me go?

Lotus corridors and brocade towers, steps that lead into the locked palace, endless resentment and entanglements.

Nothing is clear, and the more I try to unravel it, the more tangled it becomes.
