Master, Don't Abandon Me

Luo Qingchen worked through several sleepless nights to complete an important experiment. In the end, the experiment failed, and he lost his life in the process.

But when he opened his eyes again, he discovered that he was still alive. He had simply become a baby, and a young man had taken him home.

It was only years later that he learned he had arrived in a place called the Xuanming Continent, a world where people could cultivate and strength ruled all. The young man who had found him was none other than Xie Wei, the sect leader of the greatest sect of the age.

But some things were no coincidence. His arrival in this world had all been arranged long ago.

My name is Jinchuan, and I am the only disciple of Luo Qingchen, the Immortal Lord Qingchen of the Xiaoyao Sect.

I joined the Xiaoyao Sect when I was eight, and met the person I would never forget for the rest of my life. The first time I saw him, he was seated high above in the main hall, like an immortal perched among the clouds, impossible to look away from.

I never imagined that someone as ethereal as an immortal would choose me as his sole disciple. But as we spent our days together, I developed feelings for my master that I should never have had.

I grew afraid. I didn't know whether my master would hate me for it. If I kept quiet, could we remain master and disciple forever?

But I couldn't let it go. I wanted him to know how I felt, so I told him.

What I never expected was that my master would accept me. He didn't hate me.

What I never expected, though, was that a new difficulty would arise just after I had confessed my feelings to him.
