The Era of Kin: Anatolia

No exaggeration, no character bashing. Every character is treated with respect, and I’ll do my best to recreate that dazzling era, described in only a few lines in the books. The heroine isn’t conventional, and the Thorne family’s ancestors are my own creation. [For all of us waiting for our owls...] “Dear, the Thorne family has never been short on talented people. It’s the monsters we lack, so why worry about turning out a few fools and mediocrities?” Neither storms nor rain can stop France’s rose, and hardship cannot hold back the wild growth of thorns. Those who are forever true to their ideals and romantic nature would never easily give up on a friend. Perhaps Ravenclaws are clever, capable, and well-read; Slytherins know how to read the situation and protect themselves; Hufflepuffs are upright, friendly, and undaunted by hardship; Gryffindors are brave and fearless, bold and valiant... House traits have never defined a person, and there aren’t only four kinds of people in the world. “Hey, beautiful lady over there, this firework display is for you!” “It’s a lot of trouble, but you really can’t manage without me, can you...” “Come on, cheer up!” “How did you even get into Gryffindor?” “You were Anatolia before you were a Thorne.” A carefree, contradictory sort who defies definition, an instinctive free spirit who does as she pleases, and someone who thinks she sees more clearly as an outsider... Basic Information Name: Anatolia Thorne Wand: Blackthorn, Thunderbird tail feather, twelve and a quarter inches. [No pairings + Gryffindor + emotionally stable, never turns evil]
