13-Volume Set of Works by John Berger

The collection of John Berger's works includes the following 13 works: 1. "To the Wedding" is a novel about huge heartbreak, rising hope, and above all, the victory of love over death. 2. "Pig Land" is set in a small mountain village in the French Alps. Berg created a group of people: the men are hardworking and suspicious, and the women are independent. 3. "The Seventh Man" "The Seventh Man" is a mixture of different types of stories. There are poems, statistics, and the narrative of "he", an immigrant worker. 4. "The Lucky One" is a meticulous graphic record that reproduces the responsibilities and roles of doctors in real society and shares doctors' thoughts on life. 5. "Way of Seeing" This book discusses artworks in the age of mechanical reproduction, women as objects of viewing, oil painting traditions, advertising and capitalism, etc. It is accompanied by more than two hundred classic images. Together with the BBC documentary of the same name, it has changed the way of viewing for an entire generation in the West. 6. Each article in "Promise" uses a picture to guide not only the analysis of the image itself, but more importantly, the in-depth viewing of the thinking behind the encounter with the reader's exploration in the entire space and time, so that the meeting with words becomes a meeting as promised. 7. "The Storyteller" The storyteller lends his voice to the experience of others; the essayist lends himself to a particular scene, or issue about which he is writing. 8. "A to X: Tender Letters to a Lover in Prison" Several bundles of letters were found in a cell in the old jail in the center of the town, with only the day of the month but no year. They were letters written by a woman, A'ida, to her lover in prison, Xavier. 11. "The Resisting Group." "The Resisting Group" is a collection of 24 speeches and comments by the famous British writer John Berger on ancient and modern art works and artists. 12. "Understanding a Photograph" and "Understanding a Photograph: John Berger on Photography" are Berger's "writings on photography" in the past fifty years. The essence, carefully compiled and selected by the British national treasure writer Jeff Dyer. 13. "Another Way of Telling" "Another Way of Telling" is co-written by art critic John Berger and photographer Jean Moore.
