"Reflection of Columbia" in Mu Xin's prose novel series is the first simplified Chinese version of Mu Xin's work compiled in his later years. It includes 13 works with Mu Xin's writing style such as "September 9th", "Bamboo Show", "Empty Room", "Reflection of Columbia", "No Walking Tomorrow", "Shanghai Fu", etc.

Especially the piece "Reflections of Colombia" reminds me of García Márquez's "One Hundred Years of Solitude", both of which are in the style of magical realism. However, I don't like some of the characters in it, they feel a bit too idealistic. But overall, this book is still worth reading and will bring you a lot of thinking and inspiration.
